“It’s so beautiful even Stevie Wonder could take a good photograph!”

Now… leaving alone the dubious quality of this joke… it makes me wonder (no pun intended) that Stevie Wonder blind jokes were popular 20-30 years ago. It is the same kind of joke others of Scott’s generation would make - not the tasteless part - but that it harkens back to a younger time for the joke teller. There are probably many people today listening to MBW that would be “Stevie who?”.

McCain is the same… Beach Boys bomb bomb bomb Iran. A joke that harkens back to a time when McCain was a young marine. Will I be telling jokes about the Simpsons, or the X Files or Star Wars - a Jar Jar refernce in 15 - 20 years time?

I surely hope not!
